Why buy a camper from Japan?

Japan has snow and ice but instead of salt, chemicals are used on the roads! Salt is the main cause of rust on UK vehicles - The condition of Japanese imports is unbelievable, 10 year old cars look brand new underneath.

Japan is relatively small and highly populated, cars there tend to do fewer miles than in the UK plus, in general, the Japanese look after their cars far more meticulously. Also in Japan, they have a 'Shecka Test', similar to our MOT test, but stricter; therefore it is costly to keep older cars on the road.

If you are looking for a small camper here in the uk, and want to spend under £15,000, there are a few alternatives such as VW, Fiat, etc. but they all have the same problem, RUST! (You probably end up buying a refurbished, high mileage, worn out rust bucket, with your hard earned savings). This is not an issue with imported Japanese Campers, MPV's or 4x4s!
